Each Dimples the Whale™ plush is hand-knit in Peru with GOTS-certified organic Tangüis cotton, known for its softness, strength, and sustainability. Our children’s book will be printed on FSC-certified paper with eco-friendly inks, and our audiobook delivered digitally for zero waste. We partner with World Fair Trade Organization–certified artisans who ensure fair wages and environmentally responsible practices. From materials to shipping, every step of Dimples’ journey is designed to protect our planet and the oceans that inspired her.

All Dimples the Whale™ items — including the audiobook (English & Spanish), picture book (English & Spanish), and hand-knit plush toy — are now scheduled to ship in Fall 2026.

As we’ve move from concept into full production, we made a deliberate decision not to rush any part of the process. This timeline allows for thoughtful editing, illustration, fair-trade craftsmanship, and comprehensive safety testing to ensure every product meets the highest standards for children.

All Dimples the Whale™ products — including our picture book, plush toy, and audiobook — are currently in development, and everything is in motion! Images and covers may change as our illustrator, plush manufacturing team, and audio producers come on board. We expect to have our first plush prototype in-house within a few weeks and are committed to full transparency, sharing updates as each product takes shape. For now, some visuals and voices are AI-assisted (via voice generation technology) since we’re a small startup with a limited budget. As filmmakers who deeply value human creativity, we plan to hire voice actors and artists as our future budget allows to fill our content and product pipelines.
